We Built This Together.
Five years ago, the Olney Cropdusters played our very first game.
Actually, the story began even before that—with a vision.
A vision to bring high-level summer collegiate baseball to Olney. To create a place where families could spend summer evenings together, where college players could develop on and off the field, and where our community could rally around something that truly belonged to all of us.
That vision became reality because people believed in it.
People volunteered.
People sponsored.
People opened their homes.
People bought tickets.
People invited friends.
People showed up.
You helped build a champion.
Last Friday night, that journey reached a milestone none of us will ever forget.
The Olney Cropdusters are 2026 Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League Champions.
But as incredible as that moment was, this championship isn't simply the story of one unforgettable night.
It's the story of years of hard work, countless hours, extraordinary people and an entire community that chose to believe in something from the very beginning.
As our President, Brad Scott, reflected after the season, this journey began nearly seven years ago with an idea and a dream. Along the way, dedicated board members, coaches, sponsors, volunteers, host families, interns and countless supporters helped transform that dream into one of the premier organizations in summer collegiate baseball.
General Manager Brian Brewer, who has poured his heart into this organization since Day One, said it best:
"It still has not sunk in."
Neither has it for us.
Head Coach Adam Leader challenged our players with three simple goals before the season began:
• Go back to school better than you left.
• Have fun being a Cropduster.
• Win the whole thing.
Because our players embraced that culture—and because this community embraced them—we accomplished all three.
But the players and coaches didn't do it alone.
This championship belongs to...
…the fans who packed First Responder Field all summer long.
…the season pass holders who believed in us before Opening Day.
…the families who discovered Cropdusters Baseball for the first time this season.
…the host families who welcomed players from across the country into their homes.
…the sponsors whose generosity made everything possible.
…the volunteers who gave countless evenings and weekends.
…the interns and game day staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
…the photographers, videographers, announcers and media team who shared our story.
…the grounds crew who made First Responder Field shine every single night.
…the parents who brought their children to games.
…the kids who chased foul balls, collected autographs and dreamed about playing here one day.
…and everyone who ever wore Cropdusters gear, shared a social media post, brought a friend to the ballpark, donated, sponsored, volunteered or simply believed in what we were building.
Whether you attended one game or every game, bought a season pass, volunteered your time, sponsored the team, hosted a player or simply cheered us on from the stands, you helped make this championship possible. Thank you for being part of the Cropdusters family.
One of the most special moments of Friday night wasn't the final out.
It wasn't the trophy presentation.
It wasn't even celebrating on the field.
It was looking into the stands and seeing hundreds of smiling faces celebrating together.
Players.
Families.
Host families.
Sponsors.
Volunteers.
Board members.
Little leaguers.
Lifelong baseball fans.
First-time visitors.
All celebrating together.
In that moment, it became clear that the Cropdusters had become something much bigger than a baseball team.
They had become Olney's team.

Championship Merchandise Coming Soon
The question we've heard more than any other since Friday night is:
"When can I get Championship gear?"
We're working hard to make official 2026 Championship merchandise available as quickly as possible.
Keep an eye on your inbox and our social media channels—we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.
Thank you.
There is a line from one of our favorite baseball movies that Brad referenced after the championship:
"If you build it, they will come."
You came.
You believed.
You supported.
You helped build something truly special.
And together...
We built something that will last far beyond one championship.
From every player.
Every coach.
Every board member.
Every intern.
Every volunteer.
And every member of the Cropdusters family...
Thank you.
We are incredibly proud of what we accomplished together, and we can't wait to continue building on this foundation for years to come.
We'll see you back at First Responder Field in 2027.
Until then...
Dusted 'Em.
With sincere gratitude,
The Olney Cropdusters Board of Directors, Coaches, Players & Staff
