Week 5 Recap: Heat, Heart and a Tough Week for the Cropdusters

The Cropdusters faced their toughest stretch of the season, battling extreme heat and a demanding schedule while taking on some of the Ripken League's top competition. Despite a 1-3 week, Olney remains firmly in the hunt for first place at 17-9, just one game behind Bethesda.

Week 5 highlights included:

⚾ Six Cropdusters selected to the 2026 CRSCBL All-Star Game

⚾ A 10-1 road victory over the D.C. Grays

⚾ Logan Hartman's outstanding four-inning start during Fastballs & Fireworks

⚾ The team remains one game out of first place entering Week 6

⚾ Fastballs & Fireworks drew another sold-out crowd to First Responder Field

This week features the CRSCBL All-Star Game on Tuesday night before the Cropdusters return home for three exciting games, including a FREE Player Family Night + Duster's Deals, OBGC Hawaiian Night + Brian Scott Bobblehead Giveaway, and Intern Appreciation Night featuring McKenna & Vane Property Management.

Six Cropdusters Earn 2026 CRSCBL All-Star Honors

Congratulations to Landon Springmeyer, Landon Edwards, Logan Hartman, Dylan Melton, Ryan Bouma and Andrew Duncan on being selected to represent the Olney Cropdusters in the 2026 CRSCBL All-Star Game!

These six players have been instrumental in the Cropdusters' success this season and have earned the opportunity to showcase their talents alongside the league's best.

The 2026 CRSCBL All-Star Game takes place tonight, Tuesday, July 7, at 7:00 PM at Shirley Povich Field, home of the Bethesda Big Train, as the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League All-Stars take on the Valley Baseball League All-Stars.

If you're looking for great baseball tonight, come out and cheer on our Cropdusters as they represent Olney on one of the biggest stages of the summer collegiate baseball season. Good luck, Dusters!

CROPDUSTERS BASEBALL CAMPS

Want your player to get instruction from current college players from all over the country and the Maryland High School Coach of the year? The Olney Cropdusters are a new and exciting summer collegiate baseball team in the prestigious Cal Ripken Collegiate League comprised of players from all over the country playing in the area for the summer. Campers receive instruction led by Cropduster and Reservoir Head Coach Adam Leader and college players from all over the country. All campers receive prizes and tickets to Cropdusters games.
